Grand Canyon

We made it through the East Rim Entrance just after 2 PM Mountain time. There is a huge wildfire to the north... It's a steamy and packed here. We'll set up camp at the Desert Village Campground just inside the East entrance. Right now, were catching up on energy and changing up the route. We've re written nearly every stop and each successive arrival date and time (with the exception of Tampa, Florida-- we wouldn't miss dinner with Aunt Kate for the world).

If we can maintain access to the internet at the campsite, I promise to post photos... if not, watch for them in the morning while we are en route to Saguaro National Park in Arizona. We just can't pass up 50 foot cacti and 107 degree heat.
