Washington D.C.

It's been a few days since the last post and with good reason. Thursday we walked Washington D.C. Friday we drove to NYC ( I drove in NYC, talk about traffic) and today, we toured Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Who knows what tomorrow will bring.

Carl and I drove into D.C. the very same day that Chrissy and Armond rented their first apartment so we helped them move in before we explored the sites. The just moved from California the day before so we had four sets of fresh eyes, four tabula rousa's. We enjoyed exploring with the soon to be newly weds!

Carl can make a home anywhere, anytime. He's always prepared. Always.
The drivers on the east coast are crazy... I'm not sure how they aren't dead yet from traffic accidents. Did anyone else watch the news story about bumper stickers? The story was about how people with bumper stickers tend to have more road rage and aggressive driving... well... I am a believer.
The pedestrians don't use the crosswalks, ever. They walk out into traffic and expect to walk through no problem.
Who knew they had Organic Chinese?!
How about a little taste of the D.C. neighborhood?
