Ah, Georiga

We were welcomed to Georgia by the heat and humidity followed by an encore from the insects...insects that one would never want to meet face first. And yet we did. So did our tent. In the battle to remain intact and whole, both our tent and bodies failed. Our tent was attacked by some sort of insect or vermin last night. The little creatures (yes more than one) chewed through the fabric while we were sleeping in it. All morning I've been praying that both Carl and I had our mouths closed and ears covered when the creatures claimed victory and trespassed our tent lines. Our bodies bear the marks of mosquito's, vitamin B and bug repellent be damned. Yet we lived to make it to another sunrise... Let the sun set on Georgia and all of it's many insects.

Frogs were abundant in the marsh.
On our hike, we found a skull. We don't know
what creature this belongs to.
Can anyone identify this?
