A Friendly Message From The Carnny Road Research Institute

We've been on the road now for eleven days. I can tell you that lady luck is riding tight in our backseat. We've had great weather, minus two thunderstorms. We've only seen one accident... and surprise surprise, it was in Florida. The guy drive right off of the turnpike into a ditch going more than 70 miles an hour. In case you didn't know, Florida and Texas have ranked as the two worst driving states ever, according to the Carnny Road Research Institute (CRRI). Florida also ranks highest in the number of vehicles abandoned on the side of the highway, all tow tagged. Arizona is number one for safety and lack of aggression (Probably all those highway patrolman and photo radar).

And now, a word from the Carnny Road Research Institute.

The Carnny Road Research Institute has just released the safety study regarding 18- wheelers, also commonly known as semi trucks. The study has red flagged semi drivers for passing inappropriately, speeding while driving in unsafe conditions (including but not limited to construction zones), swerving into and out of the designated highway lanes, unsecured loads leaving flying debris scattered across the highway and onto other drivers, talking on cell phones, and passing unsafely and highly inappropriately (lane splitting as if they are motorcycles). The Carnny Road Research Institute (CRRI) has recommended truck drivers be re educated and fined for said behaviors immediately.

CRRI believes that a safe driver is an aware driver. That is why Carnny uses the weather channel website on a daily basis to check the weather and road conditions for the next destination (a new frontier, for sure). It pays to remain informed and aware of what you'll be getting yourselves into!

Remember, you heard it here first!
